New Aluminium Wheelarch Liners
I mentioned at the end of last year I hoped to eliminate some of the rust traps in the sills. I’ve made some nice new aluminium wheelarch liners that cover the sill at the bottom rather than leaving a flat section for mud to build up.

One of these days I’ll stop messing around and just bolt the wheels back on….

Fantastic! where did you find the bolts in the end?

I bought them from Namrick at their normal extortionate prices. At least they have a good stock of oddly sized nuts and bolts.
A couple of annoyances - turns out I already had just about enough of the right bolts in my big tub of random fasteners. Also the original length was 3/4 inch rather than 1/2 inch, and those ones I could have bought cheaply from Anglian Fastners. That would have left 1/2 inch of thread exposed to rust, and make the bolt tricky to remove in the future, but who am I to argue with the original spec?
