Aston Martin Rust Oration

I have just bought through ebay, an original Aston Martin fire extinguisher.

 

These were fitted in a bracket in the passenger’s foot well, I will have to make the bracket to fit it myself as this is long gone.

When it arrived I was taken aback by the size, it is tiny. The size of a deoderant bottle. I would not wish to tackle anything worse than putting out a Cuban cigar, But it is only really for show, I have given it a good polish but at over 30 years old it will never work. A nice shiney red one will be fitted under the driver’s seat for real emergencies.

Annoyingly I have four days off over Easter, and instead of spending them happily gluing ROJ back together I shall be in Southampton with family…sigh!
