Aston Martin Rust Oration

Sorry, no more photos until I replace the camera I had pinched in Havana.

Rear suspension. Very odd. Lots of rods. Rods connected to piece of drain pipe with swivelly thing in the middle. Lots of rubber bushes. And five metallastic bushes.

These metallastic bushes are made up of two pieces of steel tube with rubber between them and are fit so tightly into the swing linkages that my ordinary bench vice just couldn’t cope with them, Luckily on the farm, tucked away in one of the workshops is a press that can exert several tons of pressure - keeping the fingers out of the way will be at the front of my mind when I try it out.

I’m still determined to have the rear wheels on ROJ by the end of spring, and the front by mid summer.
